Each one of our Formal Hats is hand crafted with great attention to detail, from either leather, suede leather, or leather covered with velvet/other fabrics on the outside. In leather, the colours available include: Black, Brown, Red, Yellow, Purple, Pink, and White. In Suede Leather, the colours include Black, Brown, Red, Blue, Green, Purple and Pink. We also use a wide variety of different fabrics and velvets on the outside of many of our hats. In velvet, the colours available include: Black, Brown, Red, Yellow, Blue, Green and Purple. For the colours and patterns of other fabrics that we can use on hats, please see our options page or contact us re. requests and queries. We can customize any of our hats to individual customers’ wishes, including taller or shorter than in our photos. All brims are reinforced with a strong yet lightweight wire. Most hats can be made either with the classic flat brim or curved up, such as on the Black Gambler Hat – the choice is yours. Each hat comes with the choice of either a 5 – strand braided leather band and Cobb & Co badge, a flat leather band with a small golden/black badge, or the classic hat ribbon, available in many different colours (such as on the Red Velvet Top Hat) - the choice is yours. Comes with either a leather band or classic black hat ribbon; can be made with either a curved-up or flat brim.

The suede is hand picked to be durable and smooth. A great hat for weddings and other formal occasions (see the "about us" page for a photo of one of our customers' wedding!).

It's made from buffalo leather, covered on the outside with burgundy/wine-red velvet. All our Top Hats can be made with either the classic/flat or the curved brim.
